Sorry, but I have to disagree.  It is Obama's surge, even if recommended by the military. Once he adopts the recommendation, it is his as Commander in Chief. And the Iraq War was a result not of 9/11 but the desire of the Bush Administration to take out Saddam Hussein. The Iraq War had nothing to do with Afghanistan -- except it detracted from the effort in that country -- or 9/11. I am pro-Obama and will gladly vote for him again, but facts are facts John Isaacs
